Windermere Golf Club is a very special place, described by the golfing press as one of the gems of Britain's golf courses. Often described as a miniature version of the famous Gleneagles Course in Scotland.

Mountain SignpostWe have a varied membership which stands at just under 1000 members. This is made up of both golfers and non golfers of all ages.

The latest addition to our membership offering is that of International Member which is open to all golfers whose main place of residence is outside the United Kingdom. This has been introduced to cater for the many golfers that come to the Lake District for their holidays or visit the area regularly.

We always welcome new applications for all of membership categories and where possible these will be processed speedily. A modest joining fee is requested and a greens levy is currently being charged to contribute towards the costs of our recent extensive course improvements.

Senior Playing Membership The qualification for transfer into this category will be 15 years of full playing membership, and 70 years of age, as at the 1st February of the subscription year.
